We had another fine rain here Sunday evening.
Sunday dinner guests at Paul C. Volkman’s

and Harry Thomas and family called in the afternoon.

caring for Mrs. Edwin Stremming.

Roy Largent and children called on Mrs. Albert Kearney Wednesday.
Flora
Josephine Kearney has spent the past few weeks with her sister, Mrs.
Virgil Jones at Redmon.

[A.] Rawdin and family attended the fair and carnival in Shelbyville
Saturday evening.

John Hoy returned home to Gibson City Sunday morning after visiting his
daughter, Maude [M. (Hoy)] Rawdin [Smith].
Mrs.
Maude [M. (Hoy)] Rawdin [Smith] and son, Lee, and J. W. Hoy were
shopping in Strasburg
Saturday evening.
Ira
[A.] Rawdin took his brother, Adolph, and wife home to Holliday Friday.
They had been at their mother’s, Maude [M. (Hoy)] Rawdin [Smith]’s for
a few days.
Ira, Adolph and Lee[verne] Rawdin were shopping in Mattoon Thursday.
Mrs.
Amelia Stewardson has gone to East St. Louis for a few days’ visit with
relatives and friends.

Lucille Corley has returned to her home here after attending the summer
term at Western Reserve
University, in
Cleveland, Ohio.
