Largent and family called on Everett Geer and family
Sunday.
Conn Fox and wife were Strasburg callers Wednesday
morning.

Rawdin and Roy Largent were east of Trowbridge
Wednesday morning.
A surprise dinner was given for Paul Volkman Sunday
with several of his
relatives present.
The farms of this district are sure busy putting
away their crop of soy
beans.
A big band of gypsies were in this district Saturday.
Claude
Rawlings helped Tom Ulmer and
John Lantz with beans this week.
This
district hated to learn of the great loss that befell our huckster, Mr.
Elmer Falk, when he lost his store and entire stock by fire last
Tuesday. We all liked Elmer and looked for his Thursday visit.
Mrs.
[Mathilda] Wm. [William H. Y.] Ruwe and Mrs. Wilbur Harmon were in
Strasburg Friday.
Marie
Largent and children called on her mother, Mrs. Rawdin Tuesday and
Wednesday afternoon.
Harvey
Boden and wife were in this district Sunday.

Volkman and family were Strasburg shoppers Saturday.

Volkman threshed clover Friday.
