Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Largent and Paul Louis Volkman were in Strasburg Monday
afternoon consulting Dr. Schroeder.
Ben
Volkman and family spent Monday evening with Tom Ulmer and family.
Mrs.
[Martha (Vandament) Jones] N. D. [Nelson D.] Jones,
Mrs. Roy Largent and Miss Beatrice Fox remains about the same.
Irene
and Ione Lawrence assisted Mrs. A. B. Kearney Tuesday morning.
Mr.
and Mrs. Ben Volkman and children, Dorothy and Morris Dale, spent
Tuesday evening with Shelby Robison and family.
Dr.
Schroeder and family were calling in this district Tuesday evening.
Keith
Kearney worked for Joe Young last week.
Mrs.
Theo Lawrence and daughters Irene and Ione called on Mrs. Roy Largent
and children Tuesday afternoon.

Volkman put his clover hay up last week.
Charles Shanholtzer purchased corn from Roscoe
Renshaw last Friday.

from here attended band concert in Strasburg Wednesday evening.
Elmer
Krile, wife and daughter called on Ben Volkman and family Thursday
noon.
Paul Louis Volkman returned with them to their home where he will help
in harvest.
Wm.
Hagerman and wife were through here Friday and Saturday.
Mr.
H. T. Wade was in Strasburg Saturday.
Claude
Rawlings and wife were Strasburg shoppers Saturday afternoon.
Louis
Krile and family of Mattoon, Dan Krile, Mrs. [Rose] August Doeding and
son, Mrs. Doehring of Strasburg, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Snodgrass and Mr. and
Mrs. Martin Dauke and children spent Sunday afternoon with Ben Volkman
and family.
Mr.
and Mrs. Adolph Rawdin and daughter spent Sunday afternoon with Roy
Largent and family.
Mrs.
Maude [M. (Hoy)] Rawdin [Smith] and sons Leevern [Rawdin] and Ira [A.
Rawdin], Mr. John Hoy
and “Fat” Wade made a business call to Gibson City, Illinois, last
Thursday.
Charles
Ostermier and family enjoyed Sunday evening in the Ben Volkman home.

much needed rain fell here Monday morning.
