Charles Harmon was on the sick list last
week.
Charles Shanholtzer was a Strasburg shopper Thursday.

dinner was given Friday at Rockford school for the teacher and pupils
by the residents of the district. Mr. Hash is reemployed for the coming
term.

Jones [Moran], Flora Josephine Kearney, Paul Louis Volkman and Warren

Robison wrote on semester examination Saturday at Shelbyville.
Joe
Young was through here one evening last week.
Ben Volkman and family spent Sunday at Sigel.
Harry
Houser was through here again Thursday.
Mrs.
Adolph Rawdin who has been a patient in Effingham hospital for the past
several weeks returned home Wednesday.
Mrs.
Maude [M. (Hoy)] Rawdin [Smith], son Leeverne, and granddaughter,
Kathleen, were in
Strasburg Wednesday afternoon.
Mrs.
Ben Volkman and children were in Strasburg Saturday evening.
Several
young folks were in this vicinity picking mushrooms and fishing Sunday.
Louis
Krile and family of Mattoon, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ulmer and Sons Karl and
Alfred and Roy Largent and family spent Sunday
evening at Ben Volkman’s.
Clay
Robison, Jr., spent the weekend with relatives in Shelbyville.
Honor
and Leota Lenz spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Moorman and children

Beck visited here Saturday and Sunday.
