ROCKFORD
    Irene and Iona Lawrence and Flora Josephine Kearney visited school Monday.
    Mr. and Mrs. Roy Largent and daughter Norma Jeanne [Largent], called on August Doeding’s and Nick Eckhart’s Monday afternoon.
    Morris Dale Volkman spent Monday afternoon with Tom Ulmer and family.
    Claude Rawlings has been helping John Lenz with work.
    August Doeding hulled beans Monday.
    Adolph Rawdin was in Shelbyville last Thursday.
    Ben Volkman assisted Nick Eckhart with work Friday.
    Tom Ulmer, wife and daughter, Florence spent Saturday in Decatur.
    Flora Josephine Kearney spent Friday afternoon with Irene and Iona Lawrence.
    Paul Louis and Dean Volkman and Paul Thomas attended the pie supper at Whitlatch Friday night.
    Mr. and Mrs. Nick Eckhart, Ben Volkman and Adolph Rawdin were among the Stewardson shoppers Saturday.
    Wm. [William H. Y.] Ruwe and Harvey Wiley assisted Roy Largent with Bean hay Saturday.
    Ben Volkman’s entertained relatives Sunday.
    A. B. Kearney entertained their son and family at Sunday dinner.
    Claude Rawlings and family were visiting Sunday.
    Adolph Rawdin and family ate Sunday dinner with Roy Largent and family.
    Ira [A.] Rawdin and family were visiting Sunday.
    Mrs. Maude [M. (Hoy)] Rawdin [Smith] and son entertained guests Saturday night and Sunday.
    Mrs. [Margaret]Ab [Albert] Shawspent one day last week with Mrs. H. T. Wade and daughter.
    Otto Roellig hulled beans Saturday.
    Roy Largent and Adolph Rawdin were calling on Gard Largent Sunday afternoon.
    Ora and Arch/[Artch] Wiley went north to husk corn Sunday.
    Orval Shaffer hauled posts through here last week.
    Mr. and Mrs. John Hagerman were through here Sunday.
