ROCKFORD
Roy Largent and Ben Volkman
worked last week on a gravel road near Sigel.
August Zalman and wife were calling in Rockford
district Sunday afternoon.
Lee[verne] Rawdin and wife spent Sunday with Roy
Largent and family.
Ruth Volkman and son spent Thursday with Mrs. Tom
Ulmer and daughter Florence.
Prairie townships will start work on two gravel
roads Monday, which will employ about 80 men.
[Charles] Elwood Jones is spending a few months with
his parents.
Roy Largent called on his parents
Sunday forenoon.
Mrs. Claude Smith, Mrs. Nettie Rawdin and children
and John Hoy spent last Thursday with Mrs. Roy Largent and children.
Mrs. Oda [(Jones)] Haines and family spent one day
last week with her parents, N. D. [Nelson D.] Jones
and wife [Martha (Vandament) Jones].
Mrs. Lydia Rawlings spent a few moments with Mrs.
Roy Largent last Friday.
Norma Jeanne Largent
spent Friday afternoon at school.
Ira [A.] Rawdin and family and brothers, Lee[verne]
and Adolph were Stewardson callers Saturday evening.
