Rawlings helped John Lenz with
his butchering Saturday.
Theo Lawrence called on William Ruwe Wednesday
morning.
Andy
Welton and son and Chas. Shanholtzer were in Strasburg Monday.
Roy Largent did work for Dr. Schroeder
Monday.
Mrs.
Bert Kearney spent a few days last week with her mother of Lakewood,
who is quite ill.
Roy
Largent was a Shelbyville and Stewardson caller Thursday.
Wm.
[William H. Y.] Ruwe was a Stewardson caller Thursday.
The
farmers of this district had a meeting last week at the school house on
how to control parasites in horses.
Mrs.
Maude [M. (Hoy)] Rawdin [Smith] has been ill with the flu the past
week.
Ben
Volkman was in Shelbyville Monday.
Leeverne
Rawdin and wife are at Mrs. Rawdin’s again, after a few weeks with her
parents near Stewardson.
Mrs.
Ben Volkman and daughter spent Saturday afternoon with Mrs. Tom Ulmer
and daughter.
Tom
Ulmer was in Strasburg Friday.
The
25th of January a large drove of robins were seen here. Also bluebirds
and jenny wrens.
Paul
Louis Volkman and brother, Dean, attended church in Strasburg Sunday
morning.
There
was no school here Friday.
Tom
Ulmer called on Ben Volkman Sunday morning.
Coon
hunters from Moweaqua, Strasburg and Shelbyville were in this vicinity
last Thursday night.

George Largent will start his sawmill

Rawdin has been making posts for Jim Barr.

on Jim Barr and son Sunday afternoon.
Adolph
Rawdin took his daughter to the doctor Sunday.
Whit Groves, the milk hauler, has been seen
in this district quite often since the roads have dried up.
Mrs.
Belle Hanson is having her hedge posts hauled from here to her home
northwest of Strasburg.
