ROCKFORD
     Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Robison and daughter June, were in Shelbyville last Monday.
     Roy Largent, Glen Roley and Ira [A.] Rawdin helped Claude Smith saw wood last Tuesday.
     George Largent and Roy Largent were in Stewardson last Tuesday afternoon.    
     Iona Lawrence and Flora Josephine Kearney visited school one afternoon last week.
     Luther Bence of Windsor was here last Tuesday.
     Mrs. Theo Lawrence and daughter, Iona, spent Thursday afternoon with Mrs. A. W. Kearney and daughter.
     Roy Largent was in Shelbyville Saturday morning.
     Mrs. Maude [M. (Hoy)] Rawdin [Smith] called on Mrs. Nettie Rawdin Friday afternoon.
     Ira [A.] Rawdin was in Mattoon last Thursday afternoon.
     Glen Roley has been helping his brother, Harold, with his work on the farm, which he will move to soon.
     Imogene Kearney was a caller at Ben Volkman’s Sunday evening.
     Roy Largent called on Walter Wascher Thursday morning.
     The sound of the guns Sunday indicates rabbits must be ripe.
