Mrs. Lydia Rawlings and daughters were at
Earl Shelton’s Wednesday assisting with canning.
Mrs.Marie [(Smith)] Largent and children
spent Wednesday with her mother, Mrs. Claude Smith.
Miss
Iona Lawrence spent Tuesday night and Wednesday in Stewardson.
Ira
[A.] Rawdin, wife and daughter June were in Shelbyville Wednesday
afternoon.
Mrs.
N. D. Jones left Tuesday for Ohio, where she will visit relatives.
Miss
Flora Josephine Kearney is visiting her sister, Mrs. Virgil Jones and
family at Redmon, Illinois.
Mr.
and Mrs. Theo Lawrence and daughter Iona, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Rawlings
and daughter Esther, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Largent and children, Mr. and
Mrs. Shelby Robison and children and Mrs. Ben Volkman and daughter
attended the funeral of George W. Gill Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Claude Smith were in Kingman
Thursday.
Mrs. Guy Jones and children spent last
Wednesday with N. D. [Nelson D.] Jones
and granddaughter, Cleo [(Jones) Moran].

began here Monday, Sept. 4th with Mr. Roscoe A. Hash of Trilla as
teacher. We wish him success with his school.
