Ada Kepley's Farm
Ada
Kepley lived a busy life. She was the first woman to earn a law degree,
an ordained Unitarian minister and the first woman in Illinois to be
elected to serve on a school board. Her commitment to improving
children's lives continues today. Her farm is now known as Wildcat
Hollow State Forest. Local school children from Linda Lewis' third grade class
in nearby Edgewood, Illinois, share information about the site online.
Ada would be thrilled! Treat yourself to an end-of-the-season trek
through Wildcat Hollow State Forest.
